Introduction

Well, after much confusion I finally got my blog going! I am not very technology smart, and have no experience with blogs, so this will be a whole new thing for me! I am 27 years old and have one 4 year old son, one 4 month old daughter, and one 4 year old step-son. I am currently a stay at home mom, but between housework, school work, and keeping up with my very high energy children, there's not a chance to be bored!

I would like to say that I started this class not knowing fully what to expect and I dreaded it a little. Now that we are three weeks in, I love it! I really enjoy getting to pick and choose what I read and what work I do. In this blog I will discuss some of my favorite things from this class; from stories, to authors, to characters. I look forward to also hearing about some of my classmates favorites!

  1. Great start to your blog, Christina! I am so glad we were able to work through the steps, plus it was nice to actually talk to you this afternoon.

I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the class. Hopefully the format will fit into your schedule with three children to care for--and a husband too! I am looking forward to reading your posts.

  2. Hello Christina,
When it comes to Blogging there can be some confusion as to the overall technique and the setup but it looks like you are well on your way to becoming a great blogger.
I too was a bit hesitant after reading the books and or novels we would be able to choose to read for this class. I am a fantasy reader and my favorite author is and always will be R.A. Salvatore. I must admit that after reading a few of the stories I can see where my fantasy novels may collect a bit of dust so I can read a few more classics. The words the authors use and the dialect really pull the reader into the books and allow you to become a part of the story. Like any good book you are always asking yourself questions, like what will happen next, how did that go and things like that. Good luck to you and your reads.
