Pronto :)
Pronto last night was fun! At first I didn’t think I would really like Pronto, but it is awesome to get to chat with and get to know my classmates a little better. I really enjoy getting to hear about other people’s views on the things we are reading, especially the poetry! It is interesting to see the many different perspectives from which a poem can be read. I must say that Pronto sessions are one of the things that makes this class more fun and remarkable. It’s incredible how quickly the hour goes by and how much I learn! I am really glad I tried it out!

I love Pronto too! I remember the first time we used it in ENGL 223, probably three years ago,in the 3 way video class. One of the students was always coming up with comments about topics that we had already finished discussing. Finally he typed in "Slow down! I can't type that fast!" We always teased him after that about being just a little bit slower than everyone else....all the time! He was always late for class too!
ReplyDeleteI agree that Pronto adds another dimension to our learning process. Sharing views on the discussion board is one thing. Chatting is more immediate and more fun too! Glad to hear that you are enjoying it!
